![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Where previous trailers kept the meat of Bones and All under wraps, this one lays out a bit more of what we can expect in Luca Guadanino's bloody affair, including cannibal collectives and some pretty gnarley knife work. Following a teaser posted by Timothée Chalamet on Twitter in August (as well as cryptic tweets saying “Soft bones”, “Crunchy bones", “Boner bone” back-to-back) and a full one-minute-and-25 trailer in September, there's now an even longer, extended trailer for us to, uh, sink our teeth into. Here is all we definitely do know about Bones and All for now. For Chalamet it's also something of a full-circle moment, as he reunites with Call Me by Your Name director Luca Guadagnino in a delightfully off-piste horror romance… with cannibals. Set in Reagan's America, it stars Timothée Chalamet opposite Waves breakout Taylor Russell in a road movie with a difference, as a pair of ill-fated lovers “surviving on the margins of society,” per the official synopsis, embarking on a thousand-mile journey across the rural American landscape. Set to premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September, Bones and All is - unsurprisingly, given the calibre of everyone involved - one of the most hyped indie titles of the year. ![]()
